Dominic Scelzi was born into a racing family led by his four-time NHRA champion father, Gary Scelzi. Dominic started his racing journey at the age of 6 in go-kart racing. Despite his young age, he clinched a track championship by winning all seven races he participated in that year. Over the years, he progressed through various racing classes, achieving remarkable success. At 12, he became the youngest to win in the Super 600 class. He has continued his success through Sprint Car racing, accumulating over 50 total Sprint Car wins, including prestigious events like The World Challenge Race of Champions and The Dirt Cup in 2021. Dominic won back-to back NARC Championships in 2021 and 2022, joining the likes of LeRoy Van Conett and Brent Kaeding. Some of the last goals Dominic has for himself in his career are an Outlaw win and Trophy Cup Championship.
